The Trust has three retail outlets in Wilton selling a variety of useful items from plants, gifts, cards, household items, soft furnishings, kitchen appliances, second hand clothing, furniture and bedding. Our main shop and headquarters are at 29 North Street and is locally known as ‘Aladdin’s Cave’ or even the Harrod’s of Wilton. The shops are staffed mainly by volunteers who are invaluable to us. We are always pleased to hear from anyone who may be able to spare an hour or two to help.
We have on display a small sample of Art from HM Prisons for sale. The Burnbake Trust has a long standing policy of providing art materials for talented artists in UK prisons as part of the rehabilitation process. Details of this can be found on the above Prison Art tab.
An electrician checks our electrical items for safety so we are also able to sell second hand electrical items such as cookers, fridges, washing machines, kettles, toasters and table lamps etc. All stock is held on the premises at 29 North Street, so please ask if you are looking for something.
